WHAT IS A PRE-DEMOLITION SURVEY?
Such a survey is carried out prior to the demolition of a property. This type of survey is used to locate and describe, as far as reasonably practicable, all asbestos containing materials in the building.
The demolition survey will be fully intrusive and will involve destructive inspection, as necessary, to gain access to all areas including those that are difficult to reach.
IS A PRE-DEMOLITION SURVEY THE SURVEY I REQUIRE?
A pre-demolition survey is required to ensure that any ACM’s are identified and removed by a competent asbestos removal contractor, prior the demolition of a building, to ensure the safety of all contractors and persons involved.
