Our highly trained and experienced staff hold all the qualifications and accreditations needed to ensure our services are provided in full accordance with current legislation and industry best practice. The Testing Lab PLC conduct UKAS ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Accredited Asbestos Testing nationwide; on domestic, commercial, and industrial buildings.
All our samples are analysed in our purpose built, UKAS accredited laboratory by experienced BOHS P401 (or equivalent) qualified staff located at the National Control Centre in Doncaster. The Testing Lab PLC participates in the AIMS (Asbestos in Materials Scheme) proficiency testing run by the Health and Safety Laboratory, HSL.
WHAT IS ASBESTOS BULK ANALYSIS?
During one of our surveys, bulk samples will be taken by our surveyor, for laboratory analysis to be completed. This will determine if there is asbestos present, and if so, what type of asbestos. All our staff are regularly audited ensuring you receive accurate results in a timeframe that suits you. We provide a premium 4 hour and 24-hour turnaround as well as a ‘while you wait’ facility, subject to availability.
WHAT WILL THE BULK ANALYSIS REPORT TELL ME?
The bulk analysis certificate will be incorporated into the inspection report, and will identify what areas where inspected, and if there are any non-suspect items, any ACM’s present, and if there are what asbestos type(s) they contain. We also have the facility to provide a standalone bulk analysis certificate, which identifies any inspection area(s) and if there any ACM’s and/or non-suspect materials present.
