The Testing Lab PLC is a large national provider of asbestos surveys, legionella risk assessments, EPC’s and Fire Risk Assessments. TTL are currently looking to recruit a number of site staff to service existing national ongoing long term contracts. The role attracts a fully expensed company vehicle, 28 days holiday, pension scheme and an attractive salary plus cross training opportunities into analytical, legionella, EPC and Fire.

Initially as an Asbestos Surveyor you will need a minimum of 6 months post BOHS P402 pass experience carrying out management and/or R and D surveys within domestic, commercial and/or industrial buildings. Although each client has differing needs you will be able to work within the guidelines laid out in HSG 264. You will be accustomed to working alone or as part of a larger team and you will be used to working with a ‘handheld’ data capture system. A smart appearance and the ability to comply with the TTL in-house Code of Conduct is a pre-requisite as is a clean driving licence.

Specific contract induction meetings and monthly general meeting attendance is a requirement.

Upon commencement of your career with TTL you will need to attend Doncaster to meet the team as part of your induction and training after which you will be assigned a projects team with which you will report to and receive daily instruction. Every attempt will be made to keep your workload local to the place of your residence but you need to be willing to work away if required for which a generous ‘overnight subsistence’ allowance will be paid.
