The role
We’re looking for asbestos analysts who can bring their A-game to every job!
What you’ll be doing
- Master the 4-Stage Clearance. Oversee the grand finale of asbestos removal, making sure every stage gets the stamp of approval – from the first whiff to the all-clear signal. It’s like orchestrating a safety symphony, minus the violins, but with more air testing.
- Perform background, leak, reassurance, clearance, personal, and smoke testing with the precision of a scientist and the enthusiasm of a detective. Then, you’ll craft reports so comprehensive, they’d make even the most meticulous auditor nod in approval.
- With a keen eye for detail, you’ll conduct thorough site walkthroughs, scrutinizing every nook and cranny – it’s like playing Where’s Wilfred, except the only thing hiding is asbestos.
- Photo Perfectionist: Every location you visit will be photographed – and you’ll make sure those images are good enough to be displayed in a museum of safety.
What you need
- Holding the P403/P404 certificates or the equivalent RSPH is essential.
- A keen eye for detail.
- The ability to make the complex simple – communication is key!
- A passion for safety (because let’s face it, we like keeping people alive).
- Full UK driving license – you’ll be driving around in a swanky company vehicle to do your thing!
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
