Legionella Risk Assessor Roles – Home Based
TTL are currently looking to recruit a number of site based Legionella Risk Assessors due to rapid expansion and winning new contracts. Candidates must have worked within this field for more than 12 months, be certified to a City & Guilds standard and have experience in performing assessments of a wide variety of domestic, commercial and/or industrial buildings.
Each client has differing needs and these roles will be responsible for performing legionella risk assessments of domestic hot and cold water systems in accordance to the ACOP L8, HSG274 & HTM guidelines. Applicants with a background or qualifications from the plumbing industry would also be an advantage in this role as would knowledge and experience of TMV systems.
You will be accustomed to working alone or as part of a larger team and you will be used to working with a ‘handheld’ data capture system. A smart appearance and the ability to comply with the TTL PLC in-house Code of Conduct is a pre-requisite as is a full, clean driving licence. Successful applicants will receive a competitive salary dependent upon experience.
Upon commencement of your career with TTL you will attend Doncaster for two days induction and training after which you will be assigned a projects team with which you will report to and receive daily instruction. Every attempt will be made to keep your workload local to the place of your residence but you need to be willing to work away if required for which a generous ‘overnight subsistence’ allowance will be paid. Specific contract induction meetings and monthly general meeting attendance is a requirement.

Thank you very much for the air sampling results – and please accept our grateful thanks for resolving this issue so quickly and for the promptness of the report.
Your analyst, Lee, was very helpful and his suggestions and advice appreciated.
We would have no hesitation in recommending The Testing Lab and will be in touch soon with regards arrangements for a full asbestos survey for the rest of the site.
TTL have been working directly as my analyst for the last 12 months on a very complex asbestos removal scheme, they have achieved all of their KPI’s without fail and on a number of occasions surpassed their SLA in acting for us on planning issues associated with the demolition in regard to contamination which cannot be removed as part of the normal sequence of operation.
There reports are always issued within timescales and they have policed the reports by the Licensed asbestos contractor faultlessly sometimes in very difficult circumstances.
